About MapKat

MapKat was started by a group of friends who shared a passion for learning new technology and building software. We decided to focus on tourism because we all love to travel and spend time outside.

We've been building a fun way to explore what the world has to offer and share our adventures with our friends and family - something we want to use. We're still refining our plans, and we'd love to hear your ideas for our site.

Horace Chan
Horace does database work, authentication, client side UI, a little bit of everything. Great guy to have around. Just look at that happy face.

Kelly Lawson
Kelly does some webservice work, a some client side UI coding, and some design. Oh, and draws stuff.

Daniel L. Moise
Daniel was chased out of Romania and sent to Canada because he knew too much. He makes the map do what he wants it to.

Andre Prefontaine
Andre is the mastermind behind the idea for MapKat, and is really focused on supporting multiple languages even though he only speaks one.
